First I want to introduce the definition of INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING; inquiry-based learning is an approach to learning that emphasizes the student’s role in the learning process. Rather than the teacher telling students what they need to know, students are encouraged to explore the material, ask questions, and share ideas.[1] Then this blog post will come up with whether inquiry-based learning is good for my interactive learning resource.
Just like experiential learning, inquiry-based learning makes students more enthusiastic about the learning progress. Students are not only exposed to what they are learning, but students have the opportunity to explore topics of interest to them in greater depth and, from their own understanding, can learn according to their own plans.
Inquiry-based learning helps enhance the student’s learning experience, Just taking notes isn’t always the most effective way to learn. Inquiry-based learning allows students not to memorize knowledge from the teacher but to allow students to discover topics on their own to enhance the learning process and assimilate. Teaching the most effective learning methods in the field of study Critical thinking and communication skills are important for students as they explore a topic. In addition, students develop their own cognitive skills that can be used to improve their understanding of each subject. Students’ curiosity is an important criterion to guide students’ learning Allowing students to explore and present areas related to the subject can foster more curiosity about the subject, allowing students to focus on what interests them the most. The sense of achievement brought by learning their strengths can make them fall in love with learning faster. Let students master their own learning steps, when to be nervous and when to relax. When students explore a topic, they feel more ownership of their own learning process. Different from the teacher instructing them how to learn, students who use their own learning methods will be more interested in learning, so that the learning efficiency will be higher.
