[PROMT] SHARE A STORY ABOUT YOUR BEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE (COULD BE A FORMAL COURSE OR SOMETHING MORE PERSONAL). WHY DID YOU ENJOY IT?

The best learning experience happened when I took Psychology for the first time. I am a Computer science and Statistics combined student and taking a course with massive reading would be a challenge for me. Writing essays and memorizing terms is always my weak side. However, for these three learning strategies, I choose Cognitivism to help my learning progress. For Cognitivism, I believe that learning is what students perceive through feeling and perception and is realized by the subjective organization of the main body of the human brain. So learning is not about forming stimulus-response connections but relying on subjective constructs.[1]
Therefore I find out that find the structure of this course is important. While mastering the basic structure of the subject, students should also master the basic method of learning the subject, among which the method of discovery and the attitude of discovery is the most important. Then I read the syllabus of Psychology carefully and made a plan for weekly quizzes and journals to be written. However, I failed the first few quizzes because I confused several terms that I had learned in class. And I always try to remember those definitions instead of understanding them. Then I realized that the process of learning is more important than the result of learning.

Finally, I used the progress of the Cognitivism study, like the image[2], to improve my grade. And I feel grateful for this experience. This mindset can be applied to all courses of study. As with any other course, I would first understand its teaching structure before making a reasonable arrangement of my study plan. Practice and creativity are essential. I think the most efficient point of Cognitivism is forming. After enough practice and reading, I developed a psychology learning method, looking for keywords to learn it and information about it. This makes my later study more efficient, and I get good grades.
